Welcome to the University Graduate Degree Program in Marine Engineering and Maritime Transport Technology
The graduate degree program in Marine Engineering and Maritime Transport Technology is designed as an advanced continuation of undergraduate studies, preparing students for the management and maintenance of ship machinery and for successful careers in various maritime and transport institutions and companies closely connected with the maritime industry.
The program meets the market demand for highly educated professionals trained to operate modern ships and maintain propulsion systems. Its goal is to educate personnel for the highest maritime officer positions (Second Engineer on a ship with propulsion power of 3,000 kW or more, and Chief Engineer on a ship with propulsion power of 3,000 kW or more) for both Croatian shipping companies and the global market.
Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to assume responsible and managerial roles in shipping companies, shipyards, design offices, and related industries.
