Welcome to the University Graduate Degree Program in Marine Electronic Engineering and Information Technology
The graduate degree program in Marine Electronic Engineering and Information Technology focuses on deepening knowledge in the fields of ship electronic and navigation systems, multimedia and communication technologies, optoelectronic systems, information system security, programming and data processing in transport, modeling and simulation of ship processes, as well as the analysis and synthesis of controllable, reliable, and safe transport systems.
Upon completion of the program, students acquire specialized knowledge necessary for work in the commercial and naval fleets, the coast guard, and companies that develop and maintain computer, electronic, and navigation systems in maritime operations, including systems for managing energy and transport installations.
The program is aligned with computer science studies and complies with the requirements of the STCW Convention, the recommendations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and relevant ISO standards.
