Welcome to the University Graduate Degree Program in Nautical Studies and Maritime Transport Technology
The graduate degree program in Nautical Studies and Maritime Transport Technology is fully aligned with the needs of the international labor market and the growing demands of the shipping industry for highly educated professionals. The program provides students with advanced knowledge and skills necessary to operate a modern ship as a complex technical and technological system, along with a deep understanding of maritime business from the perspective of shipowners and other participants in the maritime sector.
The primary purpose of the program is to educate personnel for the highest maritime officer positions (Chief Officer and Master of a ship over 3,000 GT), intended for both Croatian shipping companies and the international market, in accordance with international standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
As an advanced continuation of undergraduate-level knowledge, this graduate degree program focuses on developing the competencies required to successfully perform managerial roles in various maritime and transport institutions and commercial entities.
