The Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka offers students numerous opportunities to actively participate in sports and recreational activities outside regular classes. Students engage in various programs, ranging from team sports such as football, basketball, and volleyball to individual disciplines. The Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka regularly organizes and supports different projects and events that provide students with a well-rounded study experience while encouraging personal and professional development.
A special place in the student life of the Faculty belongs to the Carnival Association POM-F-RI, which brings together students interested in organizing and taking part in traditional Rijeka Carnival events. Through the preparation of masks, costumes, and themed programs, students develop creativity, teamwork, and the ability to organize large-scale events, while at the same time promoting tradition and social engagement.
